Earlier this year, several University of Washington students documented and analyzed our Belltown neighborhood, learned about our assets, challenges and projects, and developed potential neighborhood scenarios and recommendations for a 15-minute Belltown, to encourage a pedestrian-friendly neighborhood with active public spaces, and thriving small businesses and retail.

BCC Meeting Wednesday Mar 8th 2023: follow-up to Waterfront Seattle and Bell Street design

Our next meeting is on Wednesday, Mar 8th, 2023 at 6:30 pm, presented in partnership with Belltown United.

In February a panel representing the Office of the Waterfront, Seattle Department of Transportation and its design partners presented information on the Bell Street project design process. This month, join us to learn about the design concepts developed based on more than 500 comments from community members. This $3.3 million project will create more accessible and comfortable east-west connections by connecting the waterfront to Belltown with the focus on Bell Street from 1st Avenue to Elliott Avenue. Your feedback is important to the final design.
