Base Camp Studios’ Summer Outdoor Movie Series is back for its fifth year! There are FREE outdoor films in Portal Park (1st and Battery) every Wednesday in August. (5-8pm Art Market, vendors, food trucks, 8-10pm movie). See The Iron Giant on Aug 12th, Blade Runner on Aug 19th, and The Matrix on Aug 26th.
The 2nd Annual Belltown Blast is almost here! On August 15th, from noon till 10:30pm, 2nd Ave between Lenora and Battery closes for free, all-ages fun. Enjoy bands on two stages, skateboarding stunts, live mural painting, a wrestling ring and more! Volunteer (sign-up sheet), and donate if you can.
The Belltown Mural Walking Tour is back for an encore. On August 16th at noon, meet at 55 Bell St, and stroll for a couple of hours as Belltown Mural Festival founder and creator Aaron Asis leads a tour to 20+ Belltown murals. Free, open to the public.
